Increased number of terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir – preparing hybrid terrorists.The increased number of foreign (Pakistani) terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir has increased the challenge of Indian security agencies. Now it has been revealed from the security agencies that these foreign terrorists are working to prepare hybrid terrorists in the valley. The recent target killing of Kashmiri Pandits and non-Kashmiri people is a big example of this.
According to sources in the security agencies, there has been a big jump in the number of foreign terrorists in comparison to local terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir in the last few months. A total of 137 terrorists are currently active in the Kashmir Valley. These include 54 local terrorists and 83 foreign terrorists of Pakistani origin. An official said that in the last few years, the number of foreign terrorists among active terrorists has increased, due to which the security forces have to make a lot of preparations to deal with them. At the same time, it has also been learned that terrorist organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed have given them the task of preparing hybrid terrorists.
Foreign terrorists helping hybrid terrorists
According to sources, terrorist organizations of Pakistan are now working on a new strategy. In this, hybrid terrorists are being prepared in Jammu and Kashmir with the help of terrorists of Pakistani origin. In fact, due to the promptness of the security forces, the new recruitment of local terrorists has reduced significantly. This is the reason why foreign terrorists present in the valley are helping more and more hybrid terrorists for crimes due to not being able to recruit locally active terrorists. These include local youths, who earlier used to help active terrorists as sleeper cells. But now they are directly carrying out terrorist activities. The incident of target killing is also carried out by these hybrid terrorists.
Identification of hybrid terrorists is a big challenge
Hybrid terrorists are different from normal terrorists. These are local youths who live like normal people. These hybrid terrorists carry out an incident, then start living in a normal way. This is the reason why it becomes difficult for security agencies to identify and catch them. There is no record of them. Now foreign terrorists are helping them and getting them to carry out terrorist acts. Intelligence and security agencies have come to know that arms and other help are also being provided to them by Pakistani terrorists present in the valley.
Recruitment of local terrorists decreased, 168 terrorists killed in encounter
There has been a decrease in the recruitment of local terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. According to the data, more than 65 youths have been recruited in different terrorist organizations this year. Whereas last year this figure of terrorist recruitment was 142. According to sources in the security agencies, till October this year, a total of 168 terrorists have been killed in the encounter with the security forces. These include 47 foreign terrorists and 121 local terrorists. In the month of October, so far 7 terrorists have been killed by the security forces.
Security agencies are making a solid strategy
According to the information, the Intelligence Agency (IB) and Jammu and Kashmir Police are engaged in gathering complete information about the local youths. Especially young people who have suddenly disappeared. At the same time, the search operation and blockade have also been increased in the Kashmir Valley. A close watch is being kept on the movement of local youth anywhere. On the other hand, the security agencies are constantly working on making strategies to get the foreign terrorists hiding in the valley out of their bills.
Kuldeep Singh, former Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force, had recently said that the challenges in Jammu and Kashmir have increased in many ways since the Taliban came to power in Afghanistan in August last year.
