Chief Minister Dr Raman Singh along with Union Steel Minister Chaudhary Virendra Singh today visited the hospital situated in sector-9 of Bhilainagar, where they met the labourers injured in plant mishap and inspected the medical treatment being provided to them. Chief Minister and Union Minister instructed the doctors of the hospital to provided best possible treatment to the injured victims of the mishap.

During thier visit, Union Minister of Steel for State Mr. Vishnudev Sai, Chhattisgarh Government’s Revenue and Calamity Management Minister Mr. Premprakash Pandey and other officials of State and Central Government and Steel Plant Management were also present. In a brief meeting helf yesterday at hospital premise, Chief Minister and Union Minister had a discussion on entire course of events that lead to mishap. Chief Minister said that this incident is extremely unfortunate. We have lost our hard working labourers in the accident. Both State and Central Government empathizes with the victim families. Chief Minister has prayed for speedy health recovery of the injured labourers and assured them of providing every possible support in thier treatment. Chief Minister said that State Government has directed the officials concerned to take human life and safety as top priority in all the public and private industries. He directed them to ensure strict compliance to safety parameters in factories.

Union Steel Minister Choudhary Virendra Singh has also considered this incident to be serious and unfortunate. He said that Chhattisgarh Government and Central Government is standing with the affected families of the victim labourers, and is keen to extend every possible support. Union Steel Minister said that the causes of the mishap will be investigated in depth and the culprit found will be subjected to strict action as per the rules.
