I would hold Invest MP for South Korean investors in Madhya Pradesh : Shivraj Chouhan

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan inspected various urban development projects in South Korea today. He addressed Invest MP seminar at Seoul. He also held discussions with distinguished persons, entrepreneurs and business community of South Korea.

At Invest MP seminar, the Chief Minister said that he would hold Invest MP for South Korean investors in Madhya Pradesh. A special cell will be set up in the state for South Korean investors. He also threw light on investment potential in the state. Describing special features of state’s food processing and food products policy, he said that there is immense scope of investment in this sector. He also informed about development in Madhya Pradesh and facilities being provided to investors.

Throwing light on similarities between South Korea and India, the Chief Minister referred to relevance of Ayodhya’s queen Huh, Buddhism and Independence Day. South Korea’s business community was invited to Invest MP to be held in the state in October 2016. South Korean people were invited to Simhastha-2016 and witness state’s wildlife and historic heritage sites.

Shri Chouhan visited Incheon Smart City Songdo and Cisco headquarters. He said that the free economic zone has remarkable arrangements for constant development of structure for basic urban facilitation. Shri Chouhan said that several specialities of Incheon Free Zone will be included in Smart City Project of Madhya Pradesh. He lavished praise on arrangements at Inchion. Shri Chouhan also visited headquarters of Cisco. Its management assured to cooperate with the state government in Simhastha Mahakumbh.

Deputy Speaker of Korea’s National Assembly Shri Jeong Kab Yoon hosted felicitation function for Chief Minister Shri Chouhan at Seoul. The Chief Minister held discussions with senior managers of Hyundai and MD of Korea’s biggest construction company Shri Han. He informed that the company is looking towards new work in the north. Korea’s Sanitation Head Shri Moo Lim informed Shri Chouhan that a technique has been developed to construct toilet in 13 minutes. Vice Chairman of Solvo Chemicals Asia also met the Chief Minister.

The Chief Minister also met Chairmen of Hyosung Power and Synth Textiles and other business heads. TRIFAC signed an MoU with Indian Chamber of Commerce in Korea (ICC) and Small & Medium Business Corporation (SBC) for increasing bilateral trade. The Chief Minister will return on October 7.
