I have come to thank you for your consistent support to the Congress Party : Bhupinder Singh Hooda

INVC,, Haryana,, Both the UPA Government and the Haryana Government are strong like a rock, and the talk of Opposition leaders like Mr Om Parkash Chautala of destabilizing them, sounds hollow and baseless. These leaders seemed to have been bitten by the power bug, which was incurable, said the Haryana Chief Minister, Mr Bhupinder Singh Hooda, while addressing a series of village- level meetings at Garhi-Sampla in the Kiloi Assembly constituency, today. Mr Hooda addressed public meetings at Pakasma, Garhi Bohr, Bohr, Bhalauth, Aasan, Kansala, Humayunpur, Mungan, Rurkee, Polangi, Kiloi, Ladhaut and Bhaiyapur villages where he was accorded a rousing welcome by the villagers. Launching a scathing attack on the opposition, Mr Hooda said that it was only trying to mislead the people purely for selfish political interests. While being in power, they (opposition) propagated and practiced the politics of casteism, regionalism and corruption, denying different parts of the state their due. “The present Congress Government has ended the politics of favouritism, and is giving all parts of the state what is due to them”, Mr Hooda said. While thanking the people for giving their overwhelming support to the Congress candidates in the Vidhan Sabha and Lok Sabha elections, and electing them with big majority, Mr Hooda said, “I have come to thank you for your consistent support to the Congress Party”. The Chief Minister said that the state government had formulated and implemented a slew of developmental schemes and programmes for all parts of the state. “Haryana has come to occupy top position in terms of per capita investment from the 14th spot earlier. Similarly, Haryana is now placed second in per capita income. Our Land Acquisition Policy is being appreciated at the national level”, the Chief Minister added. Mr Hooda interacted with people from all walks of life and directed officers to solve their problems and redress their grievances. He also visited the computer centre in Aasan village. In village Kansala, he announced an ITI whose building would cost Rs 7 crore, and approved Rs 40 lakh for a boosting station. In the villages of Humayunpur and Bakheta, he approved Rs 75 lakh and Rs 66 lakh each for the boosting station. In villages Polangi, Humayunpur and Bakheta, he announced setting up of a sports stadium. Congress MLAs Mr Srikrishan Hooda, Mr Anand Kaushik, Mrs Shakuntala Khatak, Political Advisor to Chief Minister, Prof Virender Singh, former Minister Mr Krishan Murti Hooda, former MLA, Mr  Sant Kumar, District Congress leaders Mr Kuldeep Nambardar, Mr Jaideep Dhankhar, Mr Sukhinder Hooda, OSD to Chief Minister at CM’s residence, Mr Ravinder Hooda, Assistant Political Secretary, Mr Rohtash Hooda, Chairman of the Ayurveda Board, Dr Sanjay Atri and number of local leaders accompanied the Chief Minister.
