A very soul touching and realistic film based on Kashmiris is going to be released soon. ‘Ziyarat’ which is written and directed by Suresh. K. Goswami is his first film. Due to immense and tireless dedication towards his first film, Suresh K. Goswami has given the audience a film to remember.

Based in Kashmir, this film would largely appeal the Kashmiris and others who are well read about the happenings in Kashmir. Apart from the story line and plot, the cast and crew, the singers and other actors in the film are all kashmiri. Some, according to the director, even facing the camera for the first time!

 Talking about the film Suresh K. Goswami says, “It is not based on any specific religious or political issue but on how the lives of the people are affected by the infamous terrorist attacks prevailing in the beautiful landscape that is Kashmir. How even today brotherhood still exists and people are ever supporting one another. All this wired up together to form a soul touching story about two friends and a lost son.”

When asked why he chose this subject for the film Ziyarat, Suresh K. Goswami explained, “I myself am a Kashmiri and wanted to give the masses a taste of Kashmir through my views. What could be better than launching my first film on this subject?”

Speaking about the audience and their taste, Suresk K. Goswami said, “The film will appeal to the entire mass plainly because of its simplicity and originality. People can connect with the actors as they are very real and original. It does not portray a larger than life image.”

Apart from ‘Ziyarat’ things to look forward to of Mr. Suresh K. Goswami are his feature film and two short films which are in the process of being finalized.
