Irrigation and Public Health Minister Smt. Vidya Stokes who also holds the portfolio of Information Technology today said that Himachal Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (HPSEDC) had generated business to the tune of Rs. 84.60 crore against the target of Rs. 61 crore during financial year 2014-15 resulting in an increase of Rs. 23.60 crore.
Smt. Stokes was presiding over 88th meeting of Board of Directors of HPSEDC here today. She said that a target of Rs. 134.50 crore had been fixed for the financial year 2015-16. She directed the officials of the Corporation to work with more dedication and devotion and generate resources for making it more profitable corporation.
The BoDs on the occasion approved the contribution of Rs.31 lakh for Chief Minister’s Relief Fund for this financial year. It also approved the business plan for this financial year including entering into new segments of business of supplying high quality Godrej furniture for hospitals. It also approved to procure and supply the laboratory equipments to engineering institutes and universities.
The BoDs approved 4-9-14 scheme to its employees, grade pay revision, two advance increments to drivers and one advance increment to Group D staff of the Corporation at par with the State Government employees.
Earlier, Shri J.R. Katwal, Managing Director of HPSEDC welcomed the Minister and briefed out the activities of the Corporation.
Shri P. Mitra, Chief Secretary, Smt. Upma Chawdhary, Additional Chief Secretary, Information Technology, Shri Akshay Sood, Special Secretary, Finance, Smt. Prianka Basu Ingty, Director, Information Technology, Shri S.K. Gupta, CGMT BSNL, H.P. Circle and other senior officers were also present in the meeting.
