HP arrested four persons in looting case

looting case in india copyINVC, Chandigarh, Haryana Police has  arrested four persons involved in a looting case and recovered illegal arms from their possession. While stating this here today, a spokesman of Police Department said that they have been identified as Somvir, Kapil, Satyawan alias Shiva all resident of village Baproda in district Sonipat and Vinod resident of village Bega, Sonipat. He said that police team has arrested Somvir from village Rohat while roaming suspiciously on May 11 and has recovered an illegal country made 315 bore pistol and two live cartridges from his possession. During interrogation, Somvir has admitted  looting Rs.1000 and two mobile phones alongwith his three companion at Krishan Saw Mills located at Bahalgarh road on May 9. Police has arrested all three accused from Kundli border. Case has been registered against them under Arms Act and they have been sent on police remand for two days. He said that in another case, Police has arrested a youth alongwith illegal arms and recovered a country made 315 bore pistol from his possession. He has been identified as Pawan alias Pauna resident of Sonipat. Case has been registered against him under Arms Act. In yet another case, Police has arrested a person involved in a theft case and has recovered 10 bundle cloths from his possession. He said that acting on a complaint filed by Mr. Anurudh, owner of Bala ji Cold Store, police team has already arrested three accused involved namely Waren, Karan Singh, both resident of Uttar Pradesh and Monu of Bihar. The forth accused Pritam Singh has been arrested from Delhi. The accused had been sent on judicial remand, he added. In connection with a murder case held in Sonipat on April 29, police has arrested Sunil resident of Mandauri and has recovered knife used in committing the crime. The accused is charged with murder of Jaipal  resident of Mandauri. The accused has been produced in court from where he was sent on judicial remand.
