Hero MotoCorp starts delivery of Vida V1 electric scooter, 165km range in full charge, know price

Two-wheeler manufacturer Hero MotoCorp has finally started delivering its first electric scooter ‘Vida V1’ to customers after a long wait. The company launched this electric scooter under the Vida brand in October this year. The company said in a statement on Friday that the brand’s first electric vehicle (EV) was delivered in Bengaluru, followed by deliveries in Jaipur and Delhi. Its two variants – Vida V1 Plus and Vida V1 Pro are sold in the market. Hero has launched the new electric scooter in the market with many great features and great range.

how much is the price
Vida V1 has been launched in two variants – Plus (Plus) and Pro (Pro). The Vida V1 Plus is priced at Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom) and the Vida V1 Pro is priced at Rs 1.59 lakh (ex-showroom).

Vida V1 Pro and Vida V1 Plus range
The V1 Pro variant claims an IDC range of 165 km while the V1 Plus has an IDC-claimed range of 143 km. The scooter can be charged using the portable charger that comes with the scooter. Along with this, there are also public fast chargers which Vida is installing. Plus, the battery pack is portable so it can be taken out and charged at home.

Features of Vida V1
Talking about the features, Vida V1 has cruise control, riding modes, keyless control, SOS alert, follow-me home headlamps, find-me lights, LED lighting and many more features. The Vida V1 also feels quite practical thanks to the large under-seat storage. Also, there is a 7-inch TFT screen for the rider which comes with smart connected features. The scooters might get OTA updates, so there are chances that they will get better and come equipped with more features in the future. Vida has also equipped the scooter with reverse assist, two-way throttle and boost mode for quick overtakes. Apart from this, it also has swappable battery technology.

It also gets a Limp Home Safety feature, which limits the top speed of the scooter to 10 kmph and the scooter will be able to cover a distance of up to 8 km even on an almost dead battery. PLC/GT
