Haryana Police, in addition to achieving the primary objective of the lockdown and restricting the outbreak, is extending all sorts of help to the needy ones in second wave of COVID-19. Corona warriors in ‘khaki’ are constantly serving the home isolate infected persons by ensuing home delivery of oxygen cylinders across the state.

          Giving this information here today, Haryana Police spokesperson informed that police in collaboration with the civil administration is ensuring the home delivery of oxygen cylinders to the needy patients in police PCR and other vehicles. Amid the surge of COVID-19, all the departments are working together to save the life of the common man. This home delivery of oxygen is helping in giving new life to corona patients.

          Earlier also, Police had come forward and temporarily provided its 440 Covid-19 Hospital Transport Service (COV-HOTS) vehicles in all districts for free transportation service to Covid patients to hospital and back home. These vehicles are proving to be very helpful for infected ones. Apart from this, the police is constantly making crackdown against those involved in black-marketing of oxygen cylinders and life-saving drug.

           As soon as the home delivery of oxygen cylinders was started by the civil administration on the instructions of the state government, these ‘Karmaveer’ police personnel are doing all they can to serve the humanity. Wherever instructions regarding home delivery of oxygen cylinders is received, police PCR and other vehicles supply at the earliest possible time.

          It is noteworthy that the government had started oxygenhry.in portal to ensure home delivery of oxygen cylinders to the COVID patients. The needy persons can get the cylinders at home by giving their full details on the portal.

           Police officers and personnel are selflessly at the forefront in the fight against this outbreak and serving the mankind, besides, ensuring the enforcement of lockdown to restrict the spread of infection. In these hard times, the khaki remains at forefront of not only implementation of the law but also serving the humanity. We are extending full cooperation to the civil administration in arranging the necessary resources while continuing regular duties, including maintaining law and order, he added.
