Minister of Development and Panchayats, Archaeology & Museums Department Devender Singh Babli directed the officers of the archaeological department to explore various opportunities and projects which can directly help in promoting Haryana from the archaeological and tourism point of view.
Sh. Devender Babli gave these directions during a review meeting with the officers of the Archaeology & Museums Department. During the meeting he discussed all the pending works of ongoing sites of the State Archaeology Department and directed them to complete the same within stipulated time.
Sh. Babli said that Haryana has a very rich archaeological history, only efforts are required to preserve and conserve the same. He added that we have to create such a harmonious environment so that more and more people can be connected with the rich heritage of the state. He further added that he will personally visit all the ongoing sites of the department across the State and directed the officers to give a regular progress report.
During the meeting, Additional Chief Secretary, Archives, Archaeology and Museums Department, Sh. S.N. Roy, Director and Additional Secretary, Archaeology and Museums, Sh. Mahavir Singh, Asst. Director, Dr. Raghavendra Kumar Rai along with other officers were present.
