INVC NEWS New Delhi, State Government will give priority to affirmative nod and interest of real land owners before taking any decision related to land acquisition, said Mr. Rajeev Gauba, Chief Secretary,Jharkhand.He said the village head, Mukhiya and villagers can give their suggestion in this regard to their respective deputy commissioner’s .Before taking any decision, the government will consider these suggestions seriously. He was addressing suggestion meeting organised at Dumka today. In the meeting the actual stakeholders (Rayiats) and socialites were invited to share their suggestions related to land acquisition policy. Chief Secretary further added that the committee constituted by Jharkhand government to short out the issues related to land acquisition policy is having a clear objective of finalising the policy with public consent. Committee will gather the public opinion and submit recommendations to the government ,said,CS. In the meeting Dumka Municipal Board Chairperson AmitaRakshit suggested profit sharingof acquired land withRayiats and liberal laws in this regard. Bar Council Chairman Vijay Singh suggested land acquisition policy should be framed according to sanctity of SPT act. Vice President District Board,Mr.AseemMondal insisted on regular income arrangement for Rayiots before land acquisition. Journo’s ,farmers ,educationists and social workers too suggested the committee . A large number of peoplesuggested in writing. Addl. Chief Secretary Mr.UdayPratap Singh, Secretary Revenue & Land Reforms Mr.K.K.Sone, Deputy commissioners of different districts of SanthalPraganaalong with police officials were present in the meeting . After the general meeting Chief Secretary held a meeting with officials of land acquisition.
