The Chhattisgarh government has made corona test mandatory at all airports and borders of the state. The Bhupesh Baghel government on Monday ordered that samples of passengers coming from other states be tested at airports and state borders to control the spread of COVID-19 infection.
The General Administration Department has written to the Divisional Commissioners, Inspectors General of Police, Collectors and Superintendents of Police to ensure strict compliance of the instructions related to COVID-19 testing for passengers arriving at airports in the State. The government statement said that the samples of passengers coming from inter-state border posts should be tested in coordination with the transport department. The Health Department official said that the state has reported 125 Kovid-19 cases on Monday.
After which now the total number of corona cases in the state has gone up to 11,53,867. At the same time, the death toll from Corona in the state is 14,036. PLC/GT
