The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went up to US$ 105.12 per barrel (bbl) on 16.07.2014. This was higher than the price of US$ 104.22 per bbl on previous publishing day of 15.07.2014.
In rupee terms, the price of Indian Basket increased to Rs 6327.17 per bbl on 16.07.2014 as compared to Rs 6276.13 per bbl on 15.07.2014. Rupee closed stronger at Rs 60.19 per US$ on 16.07.2014 as against Rs 60.22 per US$ on 15.07.2014.
