Washington : The echoes of the general elections being held in India are now being heard in America. There the Sikh community organized a rally in support of BJP. In this rally, people had put up posters on their vehicles with the slogan ‘400 paar of Modi government’. Let us tell you that the Election Commission of India has announced the election schedule. The first phase of voting will take place on April 19 and the results will be declared on June 4.
Sikhs living in America organized a car rally in Maryland, USA in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This event was organized on Sunday, 31 March. In this event, people had put BJP flag and America’s national flag on the cars. Also, posters with slogans like this time 400 crossed and Modi government for the third time were put up.
Let us tell you that after winning with full majority in 2014 and 2019, the BJP-led NDA has set a target of winning more than 400 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections this time. At the same time, BJP is trying to win more than 370 seats. In 2014, BJP had won 282 out of 543 Lok Sabha seats. Whereas, in 2019, BJP had got 303 seats.
In an interview given to the agency at his home in Nagpur, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that there is no doubt in his mind that the BJP-led NDA will cross the 400 seat mark this time. He said that due to the excellent work done by the government in the last 10 years, Narendra Modi will lead India as Prime Minister for the third time.
