FMCG company Nestle to invest Rs 5,000 crore in India

The world’s leading FMCG company Nestle on Friday made a big announcement regarding investment plans in India. The company said it plans to invest Rs 5,000 crore by 2025.

This investment will help in further strengthening the company’s portfolio expansion and core business in India. According to the report of news agency PTI, the company’s CEO Mark Schneider said that by the coming 3.5 years i.e. by 2025, the company will invest Rs 5000 crore in India. making plans.

This investment will be used for the company’s capital investment, setting up of new plants, acquisitions and expansion of product portfolio. Schneider further said that India is among their top 10 markets. This investment will create large scale jobs in India. However, investment is subject to approval of the company’s plans from the government.

According to Nestle, the company has invested a total of Rs 8,000 crore since commencing production in India in 1960. Now it has been decided to invest more. PLC/GT
