Five years rigorous imprisonment to a candidate in a case related to mp pcrt-2013 examination
INVC NEWS New Delhi, The Special Judge, CBI, Vyapam Cases, Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) has sentenced Sh. Madhuraj Singh, a candidate/student to undergo five years Rigorous Imprisonment with fine of Rs. 4000/- in a Vyapam case related to MP PCRT-2013 (Second) Examination. CBI registered a case on 18.08.2015 on the orders of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India and taken over the investigation of FIR No. 109/14, earlier registered at Police Station Kampoo, Gwalior (M.P.). During investigation, it was found that the accused candidate Madhuraj Singh had not appeared in the MP PCRT-2013 (Second) written examination. However, he passed the said written examination by illegal means and using impersonator in his place. Thereafter, while appearing in the Physical Proficiency Test of MP PCRT-2013 (Second) on 01.02.2014 at 14th Battalion, SAF Ground, Gwalior, he was caught by the officials due to photo mismatch. After investigation, CBI filed a chargesheet against the accused on 26.04.2016 in the Court of Special Judge, CBI, Vyapam Cases, Gwalior (M.P.). The Court found the accused guilty and convicted him.
