When is the first solar eclipse 2024?
The first solar eclipse of this year is going to occur on Monday, April 8. This solar eclipse will begin at 09:12 pm and will end at 02:22 am on Tuesday, April 9. This solar eclipse will take place in Pisces and Swati Nakshatra.
Somvati Amavasya is also on the day of solar eclipse. According to religious beliefs, solar eclipse occurs on Amavasya and lunar eclipse occurs on Purnima Tithi.
Sutak period of solar eclipse 2024
Sutak period of solar eclipse starts 12 hours before. On this basis, the Sutak period of solar eclipse should start from 09:12 am on 8th April. But this solar eclipse will not be visible in India. Because of this, the Sutak period of the solar eclipse will not be valid.
Where will solar eclipse 2024 be visible?
This solar eclipse will be visible in America, Canada, some western parts of Europe and Mexico. Apart from this, it can also be seen in the Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean and Arctic.
Ways to remove the ill effects of solar eclipse
1. During the time of solar eclipse, you should chant Surya Beej Mantra Om Ghrini Suryay Namah or you can also chant any other effective mantra of Surya.
2. To remove the ill effects of solar eclipse, you can chant the name of your favorite deity or chant mantra at that time.
3. After the solar eclipse, you should take bath and donate items related to Sun God. In this you can donate wheat, jaggery, red clothes, copper utensils, ghee etc.
4. On the day of solar eclipse, you should choose clothes of auspicious colors of your zodiac sign. Wearing auspicious colored clothes can prove auspicious.
