This noble cause was taken under the CSR Initiative by the India’s first Swadeshi Bank. The event took place on 5th December on the premises of the British Library itself, wherein 100 college going children belonging to less privileged section of the society were handed over the membership cards sponsored by Central Bank of India with a fee of Rs.1600/- per card for a year. The aim of this activity was to provide the children a platform for gaining knowledge, and to introduce them to an avenue which they themselves could not have afforded. The students selected for this scholarship have been delivering good academic results in the past in their respective schools and had an urge to explore the world of knowledge beyond their prescribed syllabus. Speaking on the occasion, Sh.
