Every citizen should contribute to state’s development
INVC NEWS Bhopal, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that every citizen should discharge his responsibility with commitment to contribute to state’s development. During last 10 years, Madhya Pradesh has got new image of developed state. Take pledge to write a new chapter of progress of the state and every possible effort for betterment of Madhya Pradesh. He said that a law will be framed under which every poor person will be provided house and no poor person will be displaced without alternative arrangement. Land Reforms Commission will be constituted to consider various issues pertaining to management of land of small, marginal farmers and landless labourers. Irrigation capacity will be built on 60 lakh hectares in the state in next 10 years. Dial 100 Scheme will be implemented to make police more responsive and people-oriented. A major campaign for women’s health security will be launched. Shri Chouhan was addressing people after taking salute at state level Independence Day function at Lal Parade Ground here today. The Chief Minister said that country is progressing fast under leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Central government has implemented welfare schemes for every section of society. Madhya Pradesh will implement all these schemes ideally. He said that as a result of united efforts, tag of sick state on the face of Madhya Pradesh has been erased. Method to work with public participation has enhanced people’s trust in the state government. During last 4 years, state’s agriculture growth rate is more than 20 percent. About 450 lakh MT agriculture production has been made during year 2014-15, which is 25 percent more than last year. State stands second in wheat production. Credit of this achievement goes to farmers.
