San Francisco : According to recent reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India met with various notable personalities during his visit to the United States, including Elon Musk, the co-founder of Tesla and owner of Twitter. After the meeting, Musk expressed his admiration for Prime Minister Modi, stating that he is a fan and appreciates Modi’s dedication to India’s interests. The Prime Minister extended an invitation to Musk to visit India, to which Musk responded positively, mentioning that India offers significant business opportunities and he plans to visit the country next year.
Furthermore, Musk announced that by the end of this year, Tesla would finalize the location for its factory in India. This move indicates Tesla’s interest in establishing a manufacturing presence in India, a market with substantial potential. Additionally, Musk expressed his hopes of bringing Starlink, a satellite internet service provided by SpaceX (another company founded by Musk), to India. This initiative aims to provide internet access to remote villages across the country.
During his time in New York, Prime Minister Modi also met with several other prominent individuals, including Buddhist author Professor Robert Thurman, essayist-statistician Professor Nassim Nicholas Taleb, astrophysicist and author Neil deGrasse Tyson, Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Romer, and investor Ray Dalio.
