Haryana Health Minister, Rao Narender Singh today said that experts of Yoga and Panchkarma would soon be appointed in all district level hospitals in the state. While addressing a national workshop on Homoeopathy in Cardiology in New Delhi today, Rao Narender Singh said that Haryana Government was considering to develop Homeopathy as the first method of treatment. The national workshop was organized as part of the Perfect Health Mela, which had started on November 1. He also visited various stalls setup in the fair. Hundreds of participants participated in the fair and learnt various techniques including the Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR 10), which is a life saving technique used to revive the dying person within ten minutes of the death. The minister took keen interest in the technique and said that efforts should be made to popularize it among the people. Rao Narender said that Haryana Government was consistently trying to increase the health facilities for cancer patients in the state and during the recent meeting with Union Health Minister, it has urged the Union Government to accord the state level status to the regional cancer Hospital in Rohtak. Haryana Health Minister said that Rapid Action Force has been constituted in the state to fight Dengue and all Deputy Commissioners have been directed to supervise the situation regularly in their respective districts. AYUSH wings have been setup in most of the hospitals, where Allopathic, Ayurvedic and Homeopathic treatments were being provided. He said that Homeopathy was getting popular not only in India but also at the world level as it was considered to be economical and without any side effects. Healthcare Foundation Chairman Dr K.K. Aggarwal, Secretary Dr Anupama Sethi, noted journalist Alok Mehta, Haryana Homeopathy Registrar Dr Surender Yadav and many other distinguished guests also attended the national workshop.
