Educational institutes should produce sensible young generation
H.P. Governor Acharya Devvrat inaugurated the newly constructed auditorium of Lal Nath Hindu College at Rohtak, Today. Addressing, students on this occasion Governor said that basic purpose of education is to provide good education, good health and cultural values amongst the students.
He said that concept of patriotism, service to nation, cultural values should also be included while providing modern education in educational institutions. He said Rohtak District is famous as the land of international players all over the country. The college has also produced international level wrestling sportspersons both in men and women category, and also in other sports. They have placed the name of Rohtak on International map, in field of sports.
He said educational institutes should produce such a sensitive and sensible young generation which would be able to understand problems of common man and work for collective welfare of the society.
He said India has been the world teacher where great teachers and thinkers gave message of peace, brotherhood and welfare of all human beings.
Dr. Arvind Sharma M.P. Rohtak said that teaching and non teaching staff of the college played an important role in making L.N. College Rohtak, as the best educational Institute in the state of Haryana.
He said that college has adopted new and professional courses especially in commerce and management which has produced good results.
Manish Grover, M.O.S. for co-operation and local govt. Haryana said that L.N. Hindu College has created a name for itself in the field of quality education and employment.
He also remembered role of Doctor Mangal Sain who worked hard for spread of education in district Rohtak and also L.N. Hindu College.
