The Punjab Higher Education, Rural Development and Animal Husbandry Minister Mr. Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa has called upon all the private players in the field of Education to focus on providing affordable Education. Mr. Bajwa was speaking on the occasion of launch of the 3rd edition of coffee table book “Edupreneurs” during a function organized by Times of India Group at Hotel JW Marriot in Chandigarh.
Mr. Bajwa said that main objective of the Edupreneurs should not be just profit making but their primary focus should be on strengthening the education structure in the country. ‘Dispensing Quality Education imparted with a ‘missionary zeal’ should be the prime focus of the Edupreneurs,’ said Bajwa.
The Minister said that no doubt over the past two decades, India has remarkably transformed its education landscape. In North India too, several education institutes are being lead by visionary educational pioneers who are dedicated towards imparting quality education, but their lot more to be accomplished.
The Minister also lauded the efforts of the Times of India Group for honouring ‘EDUPRENEURS’. He said that this is a prestigious initiative which recognizes the efforts of upcoming educational pioneers of North through a felicitation event and unveiling of a coffee table book, which chronicles the journey of these institutes and people behind their success.
