With a view to educate public about the financial discipline in the life of human being, Central Bank of India organised a special camp in the Finance & Auto Exhibition in the Parade Ground in Sector 17B, Chanidgarh. This educational booth was inaugurated by K.K. Taneja, Zonal Manager of the Bank. In his address to the participants, Tanjea informed that this is one of the endeavours of the Bank to make public aware about the various facilities available for their benefits and uplifement. Central Bank of India is offering highest rate of interest on fixed deposit for a period of 60 days. The rate at present is 8.60% and senior citizens are given 9.10%. He informed that this scheme is for limited period and advised the participants to encash the opportunity. Similarly, he told that Bank is providing housing loan at 10.25% per annum for amount of Rs.75 lacs, which is very competitive in the present scenario. During the function, Dr. V.N. Pathak, Senior Regional Manager, Chandigarh was also present.
