Anju Banerjee, Chairperson-cum-Managing Director, EdCIL presented a Dividend cheque of Rs.150 lakh to Shri Kapil Sibal, Union Minister for Human Resource Development, here today.
EdCIL (India) Limited, a Central Public Sector Enterprise under the aegis of Ministry of Human Resource Development is the only consultancy organization in India offering a complete spectrum of services in the field of Education and Human Resource Development on a global basis. During the year 2009-10, the company recorded growth @22% in turnover and 32% pre tax profits by achieving a turnover of Rs.65.45 crores and Pre-tax Profit amounting to Rs.6.73 crores and declaring a Dividend of Rs.150 lakh, which is 100% of the paid-up capital of the Company. This the 23rd consecutive year the company has declared Dividend.
