Dr. Ruby Dhalla, a trailblazer who made history as one of the first women of Indian origin elected to federal parliament in the world outside of India today announced the launch of the historic charity Dreams For You as a Brand Ambassador and the Ruby Red Fashion Label. At the launch thousands of youth joined people from the worlds of Fashion, Entertainment & Decision Makers to support the victims of fraud marriages. To support the cause, global music sensation Yo Yo Honey Singh performed and International models walked the ramp to mark the launch of the Ruby Red Fashion Label at the Talkatora Stadium. With many worthy charitable causes helping women in India, Dreams For You is a unique initiative to focus on helping, supporting and empowering women who have been victimized, impacted & affected with the growing phenomena of fraud marriages. In addition Dreams For You will help women who are impacted by domestic violence, are widowed, and from underprivileged areas with skills, training, and resources for personal and professional development. Dreams For You will also provide counselling, legal assistance, and focus on education and public awareness campaigns to help fraud marriage victims and their famiies. It is with that same dedication and motivation to inspire, empower and make a difference that has resulted in Ruby’s desire to create the Ruby Red Fashion Label consisting of glamorous evening dresses, gowns, kurtas, & restort wear. Combining the sophistication of the western world with the charm, elegance & rich history of the east Ruby Red will make women look & feel beautiful with a style statement that is defined by her own attitude, essence & charm. The first collection of Ruby Red presented at the launch comprises a mix of vibrant colors of Red, Gold, Black and Purple Pink, which define the beauty and strength of womanhood and consist of glamorous gowns, evening dresses, resort wear, kaftans, & kurtas.
