The Deputy Commissioner office today disbursed rehabilitation grant, ex-gratia and compensation to the victims of 1984 riots. Rehabilitation grant @ Rs. 2 lac per family to 35 families, ex-gratia grant @ Rs. 3.5 lac in a death case to one family and in an injury case @ Rs. 1.25 lac to one family was disbursed. Compensation for the loss of property was paid to two families @ Rs. 1,80,000/- and Rs. 90,000/- respectively.
