Diet amount increased for patients of ESIC Hospitals
INVC NEWS Bhopal, The State Government has increased the diet amount being provided to the ESI Hospitals for undertreatment patients. This information was given in a meeting of the regional council of Employees State Insurance Corporation held under the Chairmanship of Minister for Food, Civil Supplies, Consumer Protection and Labour Shri Om Prakash Dhurve today. Principal Secretary Labour Shri Ashvini Rai, Director of Employees State Insurance Corporation Dr. B.L. Bangeria, Members, and officers were present at the meeting. Minister Shri Dhurve said that several important works have been carried out by the state government in the interest of the laborers. Medical facilities have been expanded in the ESI Hospitals and Dispensaries. It was informed in the meeting that diet at the rate of Rs. 44 per patient will be provided to the patient undergoing treatment in the ESI hospitals. Earlier, it was given at the rate of Rs. 30 per patient daily. Diet at the rate of Rs. 92 per day will be given to pregnant ladies in the hospitals. Approval has already been given by the state government and order will be issued shortly in this regard. Representatives of Workers Union Shri R.D. Tripathi, Shri Pramod Pradhan, and Shri K.K. Sharma gave suggestions in the meeting.
