DHBVN received mobile telephone numbers of over two lakh consumers :Mohammed Shayin

INVC,, Haryana,,The Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam (DHBVN) today  began sending information of electricity bills to its consumers through SMS also after successfully integrating the facility with its billing data base. Mr.Mohammed Shayin, Managing Director, DHBV said here today that this information will include amount and due date of payment and will be in addition to the hard copy of the bill. Consumers would get three SMSs; first to intimate the consumer about amount and due date of payment of his bill, second to remind him 48 hours before the due date of payment of bill and third on receiving payment of the bill to intimate about receipt of payment. Initially, third SMS will be given to the consumers in the 13 computerized sub-divisions only. He said that DHBVN has already received mobile telephone numbers of over two lakh consumers who have started getting information related to bills. As and when the consumers provide mobile phone numbers they would start getting the SMSs. He urged the consumers to provide their mobile telephone numbers to the respective sub divisional officers or the consumers can get themselves registered directly on DHBVN’s website. to avail the facility of getting information regarding electricity bills. Mr. Shayin said that this system also has facility to broadcast other useful information to the consumers. He said that in addition to this, a plan is being formulated to provide bills through email also to all those consumers who get registered for the same with the DHBVN.

Sir, U are trying to make the department hitech but my factory is closed since 15june & u will be surprised to know that ur department do not have CT for the CT Meter since 1stjune & my meters CT has gone defective. I have approached the concerned officers but there is only one excuse they have that is it is not in our hand & if u ask for the date & time there is not any response.I would request u to pl look in to the matter & make the senior off
