Delhi Weather: The weather will remain pleasant for the next 7 days

The Meteorological Department has forecast that the maximum temperature will remain below 40 degrees during the next seven days. Due to Western Disturbance, the rain accompanied by strong winds has affected the weather of Delhi a lot. The weather remains humid. Due to this the weather is generally pleasant.

The sun was shining brightly in most parts of Delhi since Tuesday morning. As the day progressed, the sun got brighter. But, the movement of clouds in the sky remained. As a result, the temperature did not rise rapidly. Due to the humidity present in the weather, there was no feeling of heat. Delhi’s Safdarjung Meteorological Center recorded the day’s maximum temperature of 32.5 degrees Celsius, which is seven degrees below normal.

Whereas, the minimum temperature was 18.9 degree Celsius. It is eight degrees below normal. The humidity level here ranged from 97 to 55 percent. The Meteorological Department has forecast that the scorching summers are not going to return to Delhi yet. The maximum temperature is likely to be 36 and the minimum temperature is 20 degree Celsius on Wednesday and the maximum temperature is 39 and the minimum temperature is likely to be 21 degree Celsius on Thursday.

Incessant rain due to a Western Disturbance has changed the rainfall figure in Delhi for the whole week with the possibility of light clouds and intermittent thunderstorm activity. Delhi received 100 per cent below normal rainfall in March and 98 per cent below normal in April. Till two days back, in May also 88 percent less rain was recorded than normal. But, now after the rains, the figure has doubled from the normal. PLC&GT
