Haryana Government has decided to celebrate the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) on October 31, 2018.
While giving this information here today, an official spokesman said that on this day, a pledge taking ceremony would be organized and by involving the people of all sections of the society, ‘Run for Unity’ would also be organized at state or district headquarters to spread the message of national unity in every part of the country and the society .
He said that in the evening, a March Past would also be organized by the State Police and other agencies to strengthen the sense of national unity and harmony.
