Coolex 2013, Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII’s) 4 day exclusive exhibition on air conditioning and refrigeration entered its 16th year as Mr Vijoy K Singh, Finance Secretary, Chandigarh Administration inaugurated it at Himachal Bhawan in Sector 28, Chandigarh today.“CII’s Coolex is a much awaited event as it brings the latest, green and eco-friendly technological advances and variety to the people at one platform with best offers. The latest technologies with higher efficiency, lesser power consumption and low emission levels are very critical to safeguard and sustain the environment as also meet the everyday needs,” highlighted the Finance Secretary. Coolex 2013 is featuring a four-day focused exposition, Interactive product demonstrations and new product launches from 5 – 8 April at Himachal Bhawan. The event attracted huge footfall on Day 1, with people turning up in large numbers.“Through Coolex 2013, CII aims to bring the best of technologies and latest products at attractive prices to the residents of the City Beautiful at one platform”, said Mr Pikender Pal Singh, Regional Director, CII NR.The exhibition has been designed to attract a large number of dealers, distributors, builders & architects / service technicians looking for dealerships & alliances, as well as the residents of the Tricity looking to upgrade their existing cooling systems. Most of the companies have launched new products and technologies with interesting features, attractive offers and exciting schemes and huge discounts for Coolex visitors.Daikin Airconditioning, the World no 1, Japanese Company has launched Semi Inverter, all Weather, Split ACs which are Hot & cold Machines i.e they can cool as well as heat the rooms and offices. “Especially during Coolex days, Daikin is offering ACs @ just Re 1 with no processing fee, no interest charges for easy 12 month EMIs and no paper work at all”, shared Mr Dinesh Dania, Sr Branch Operation Head, Daikin.
Daikin has also launched ACs which work on R 410 gas which is green, eco friendly and 99.5 % pure gas. The semi inverter facility helps compressors to work adjust and take lesser loads as per the room temperatures and saves power by 30-35 % while the output is enhanced by 20 %.Daikin’s ACs are absolutely sound free with lowest sound decibel levels. IFB, a new entrant in cooling systems, has launched 11 models in 5 star rating ACs in different sizes. It’s Designer Series ACs for kids with beautiful and cutely designed panels separately for kids, girls and boys are attracting the visitors a lot. “For Coolex visitors, IFB is offering 0 % finance, Free Stabilizer, Outdoor Stand and installation”, shared Mr Kulwant Singh, Dy Manager, IFB.
Hitachi has launched special ‘Follow Me’ ACs with body sensors which provide cooling specifically as per the human body movement moving @ 120 degrees. It has also launched Kaimin Tech ACs which intelligently changes the set temperatures as per the outdoor temperatures to save power. LG Electronics has launched new ‘Wonder Door’ and ‘Side by side’ Refrigerators with Mullen finishing design in 680 ltrs size. It has a bracket in the Door itself. The wonder door opens and helps you take out various articles like Beer bottles, juices, fruits etc without opening the whole fridge. These are linear inverter based, hence less frictions.
Godrej & BOYCE have come up with 6 star performance- Fridge, based on Green Balance Technology. It uses R290 gas which is 99.5 % pure, green and eco friendly gas.
