CLAT exam for both UG and PG programs will be conducted on June 19, 2022 from 2 PM to 4 PM. Common-Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national level law admission test conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities for admission to various law schools in the country. Under this, admissions are given in law graduate and post graduate courses of 22 National Law Universities of the country. In which 80 thousand students from across the country will participate. In this, about 7 thousand students of Rajasthan are also involved.
In Common Law Admission Test, students are asked questions related to Quantitative Techniques, Current Affairs, General Knowledge, English, Legal Reasoning and Logical Reasoning. A total of 120 questions are asked in CLAT PG and 150 questions in CLAT UG. Students will be given two hours to solve these questions. In which there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
Exam Pattern for PG Courses
PG CLAT exam will also be of 120 minutes i.e. two hours. In the first section, 100 objective type questions of 1 mark will be asked. There will also be negative marking of 0.25 marks for wrong answer. In the second section, candidates have to write two descriptive essays.
Exam Pattern for UG Courses
The exam for admission to the undergraduate course will be of 120 minutes. 150 Multiple Choice Questions will be asked in the exam. All these questions are of one mark each. There is also negative marking of 0.25 marks for wrong answer. Questions will be asked from five subjects in the exam. It includes English, Current Affairs including General Knowledge, Legal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Techniques.
There are 35-39 questions from General Knowledge
The paper consists of 28-32 questions or about 20% from English, 35-39 questions from current affairs, general knowledge, or about 25% weightage of the paper. Whereas, the Legal Reasoning section comprises 35-39 questions, or about 25% of the papers, and the Logical Reasoning section consists of 28-32 questions, or about 20% of the papers. Quantitative techniques consists of 13-17 questions, or about 10% of the paper.
National level law entrance exam is CLAT
Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national level law entrance exam. It is conducted for admission to 22 National Law Universities (NLU) and many other CLAT affiliated law colleges and undergraduate and post graduate programs offered by the university.
How to download admit card
To download the admit card, candidates first visit the official website consortiumofnlus.ac.in. After that enter the registration number or application number and date of birth. Now candidates have to click on the link to download the admit card. After downloading the admit card, candidates should take a print out of it. PLC/GT
