Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi , Priyanka Gandhi want that a common Congress leader should come forward for the post of National President. In this regard, discussions were also held with former Union Minister and former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath. Expressing his commitment to win the 2023 assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, he has expressed his desire to stay in Madhya Pradesh till 2023.
In the last years, he has worked hard at the organization level in Madhya Pradesh. After this, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot also got the most importance for the post of national president.
He has also expressed his inability to hold the post of National President. There is no such leader in the Congress at the national level, who gets acceptance as the national president. Congress leaders are trying to elect Rahul Gandhi or Priyanka Gandhi to the post of national president.
