In this festive season, the condition of pensioners has worsened, pensioners are not getting pension on time

Pensioners of power companies did not get pension on time for the first time. More than 40,000 pensioners of Madhya Pradesh’s power companies have been stirred up due to non-payment of pension.

Due to lack of budget with the power companies, Rs 170 crore has been deposited less. Due to which the pensioner has not been able to get the pension.

The letter written by the Chief Finance Officer of the transmission company to the Terminal Benefit Trust under the purview of the transmission company. It has been mentioned in it that Rs 392 crore was to be deposited by the power company.

Out of that only Rs 35 crore has been deposited. After the stir, MD Sunil Tiwari said that arrangements are being made to release the pension within a day or two. PLC/GT
