As part of its Budget programming, CNN-News18 is launching the ‘If I were FM Challenge’. The campaign will encourage viewers to contribute their suggestions for the Union Budget. The channel will run an extensive on-air campaign to promote the same. This initiative will also especially target the youth with top B-Schools & colleges of the country being a key TG for this campaign. Participants in the contest will be required to share their suggestions in 140 characters or less. The responses will be judged on multiple parameters and the final winners will get to feature on the channel’s Budget Day programming.
Apart from on-air promotions, the campaign will also be promoted on social and digital media extensively. Direct outreach to educational institutions will also form a key part of the campaign’s promotional plan.
