Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to hand over job appointment letters to youth on March 11 during a state level mega event at Punjab Agriculture University, Ludhiana. Minister for Technical Education & Industrial Training Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi disclosed this during a review meeting regarding the arrangements for the State Level Function for handing over job appointment letters. He also said that Cabinet Ministers, MLA's, employers and chancellors of the private universities would also be present during the event.
Mr. Channi said that during the 2nd State Level Mega Job fair campaign the event was organized at more than 30 different places in the government and private technical education institutes across the state. He said that this time higher education and medical education department also organized job fairs besides technical education department.
The minister said that the data is being collected from all the concerned institutes and employers regarding the jobs provided in the industry. He also said that details are also being compiled from the various government departments about the number of jobs provided during this financial year. He said that chief minister would hand over job appointment letters to selective number students during the state level event.
The Minister said that all the officers of the technical education department have been assigned duties for the Mega State level function and all have been asked to report at PAU Ludhiana by tomorrow and make this event a big success.
Others prominent present in the meeting included Mrs Bhawna Garg Secretary Technical Education, Mr. Parveen Thind Director, Mr. Mohanbir Singh Singh Sidhu Additional Director, Mrs Daljeet kaur Additional Director, Ms Damandeep Kaur Deputy Director Admin and representatives of the government and private universities and technical education institutes.
