CM Manohar Lal heard complaints and issued directions
INVC NEWS Kurukshetra, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal said that it is the priority of the state government to provide justice to each resident of the state and redress their grievances. Directing the officers to focus on redressing the complaints of people rather than neglecting them, he said that officers would now have to register the complaints of people in their registers and issue receipt numbers to the complainants. The Chief Minister, who was redressing the grievances of people in a Janta Darbar at Kurukshetra today, heard about 207 complaints and issued directions on the spot to resolve the same. On the complaint of Ramesh Kumar, a resident of Kurukshetra, the Chief Minister said that if the contractor had committed any irregularity in engaging any employee in university under the outsourcing policy, the matter would be got investigated and FIR would be got registered against the guilty. Taking action on a complaint received against an employee posted in SDM Office Pehowa, the Chief Minister directed to suspend him. On the complaint of Rajbir, a resident of village Hathira regarding death of several animals due to negligence of employee of Animal Husbandry Department, the Chief Minister directed the Deputy Commissioner to investigate the matter. Following the request of Sarpanch of village Abhimanyu, the Chief Minister directed the officers to start the process of shifting eight villages including Abhimanyu from the jurisdiction of Electricity Office of Karnal to that of Thanesar. Maximum complaints pertaining to electricity were received in the Janta Darbar. The Chief Minister said that it would be difficult to provide 24 hour power supply until people would start paying electricity bills regularly. He directed the officers of Power Department to launch a special campaign to make people aware about the mobile app through which people can check line loses in their villages concerned. The sarpanch of village Kheri Markanda raised the demand of laying sewerage line in the village. The Chief Minister said that if the village fulfils all norms then sewerage line would soon be laid. On the demand raised by village panchayat Mirzapur, the Chief Minister said that vyayamshala and sports ground would soon be constructed in the village on the availability of 2.5 acres land.
