Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to visit Germany from tomorrow to September 18
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will visit Germany from September 11 to 18 with an aim to accelerate the industrial development of the state. During this, the Chief Minister will meet business delegations and heads of companies to forge investments and strategic alliances in key sectors such as renewable energy, car manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, improved agricultural practices and other key sectors.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will interact with representatives of BMW, Beva and other leading companies during his stay in Munich, Frankfurt and Berlin. The Chief Minister’s visit is likely to benefit the state in terms of investment, technical know-how and expertise from German companies.
Reiterating his commitment to make the state emerge as an industrial hub, the Chief Minister said that the state government would leave no stone unturned for this. He said that every effort was being made to bring the state on the high growth path of industrial development. The visit to Germany will boost the industrial development of the state on one hand, while on the other hand it will open new avenues of employment. Bhagwant Mann said that this visit would prove to be a milestone in the direction of speeding up the industrial development of the state. PLC/GT
