Today is the third day of Chhath, the four-day long festival of Lokastha. Before this Chhath festival started on 28th October with Nahay Khay, the second day of Chhath festival was Kharna on 29th October. Method of offering Arghya to Sun God
In Chhath Puja, Sun God and Chhathi Maiya are worshipped. On Shashthi Tithi, put all the worship materials in bamboo sticks and keep them in the soup. Now take the dala and go to the river, pond or any ghat. After this, after entering a river, pond, ghat or any water, offer obeisance to the Sun God and Chhathi Maiya in your mind.
