The merit list was prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Class-X, irrespective of Boards. All these 30 candidates were prima facie appointed on the basis of fake Madyama Certificate purportedly issued by Sanskrit Shiksha Board. It was also alleged that each candidate has paid Rupees two to three Lakh as bribe to get appointed. Searches were conducted at 16 different locations which yielded recovery of various records and registers from Sanskrit Shiksha Board Bihar, Patna. Further investigation is continuing.
