CBI registers four firs related to alleged vyapam cases

vyapam invc newsINVC NEWS New Delhi, The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered four FIRs relating to alleged Vyapam Cases. The First case has been registered U/s 120 B r/w 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 of IPC and Section 3/4 of the M.P. Recognised Examination Act 1937 against 42 accused persons relating to alleged to illegalities in the Pre-Medical Entrance test 2009 conducted by Vyapam. The Second case has been registered U/s 120 B r/w 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 201 of IPC and Section 3/4 of the M.P. Recognised Examination Act 1937 against 10 accused persons relating to alleged illegalities in the Pre-Medical Entrance tests of 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 conducted by Vyapam. The Third case has been registered U/s 420, 467, 468, 471 of IPC against four accused persons relating to alleged illegalities in the Pre-Medical Entrance test 2008 conducted by Vyapam. The Fourth case has been registered U/s 120 B r/w 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 of IPC and Section 66 D of I.T.Act against two accused persons relating to alleged illegalities in the Subedar/Sub Inspector/Platoon Commander examination conducted by Vyapam in 2012. On the directions of Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, CBI has taken over the investigation of the said FIRs which were earlier registered by the Madhya Pradesh Police. Further process of taking over of remaining cases is under way.
