CBI registers first set of firs in vyapam cases
INVC NEWS New Delhi, On the directions of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, the CBI has taken over the investigation in the VYAPAM cases and registered the first set of FIRs today which were earlier registered by Madhya Pradesh police. The First case has been registered U/s 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 474 r/w 120B of IPC relating to alleged illegalities in the Pre Medical Test of MP 2010 involving 21 accused persons. The Second case has been registered U/s 419,420, 467, 468, 471 r/w 120 B of IPC and Section 3/4 of the Madhya Pradesh Recognized Examination Act against 8 accused and others on the allegations of impersonation, cheating, forgery and criminal conspiracy in the Pre-Post Graduation Medical Examination of MP 2011 conducted by VYAPAM The Third case has been registered U/s 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 r/w 120B of IPC relating to alleged illegalities in the Pre Medical Test of MP 2009 and 2010 involving 28 accused persons. Records have also been called from the District Police of Ujjain, Kanker, Gwalior, Jhabua and Indore relating to the alleged deaths of Ms.Namrata Damore, Shri Vijay Patel, Shri Rajendra Arya, Shri Akshay Singh and Shri Deepak Verma. Further process of taking over the remaining cases is also underway.
