CBI registers a case against then deputy manager of SBI & three others and conducts searches
INVC NEWS New Delhi, The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a case against then Deputy Manager (Development Banking Department), State Bank of India, Hatia Branch, Ranchi; two partners of Ranchi based private construction firm; said private construction firm based at Ranchi and others U/s 120B r/w 406, 409, 420 of IPC and Section 13(2) r/w 13(1)(d) of PC Act, 1988 on a complaint received from State Bank of India. It was alleged that the then Deputy Manager, State Bank of India, Hatia Branch, Ranchi had prepared, posted and authorized the transfer of almost entire amount of Rs.100.01 crore (approx.) to the Current Account of a private construction firm based at Ranchi and also in the accounts of their partners of said company account from the State Bank of India account meant for Rajya Madhayan Bhojan Pradhikaran Account. Searches were conducted at the residential & office premises of accused persons which led to recovery of incriminating documents. Investigation is continuing.
