CBI REGISTERS A CASE AGAINST FOUR PERSONS AND ONE COMPANY FOR ALLEGEDLY CHEATING STATE BANK OF INDIA

New Delhi, The Central Bureau of Investigation has registered a case on a complaint from State Bank of India against two private persons; their company and two Advocates U/s 120-B, 420, 468, 471 of IPC. It was alleged that the accused entered into criminal conspiracy to cheat State Bank of India to the tune of Rs.35.46 crore(approx) for obtaining loan from the Bank. It was further alleged that the accused fraudulently mortgaged several properties to the Bank which were already sold/alienated before the said mortgage. Searches were conducted at the 04 residential premises of the accused persons which led to recovery of incriminating documents.
