CBI FILES A CHARGESHEET AGAINST TWO THEN DIRECTORS OF DELHI BASED PRIVATE TELEVISION COMPANY AND OTHERS
INVC NEWS New Delhi, The Central Bureau of Investigation has filed charge sheet against two then Directors of a Television Network Private Company, Gole Market, New Delhi & also said private company; two Chartered Accountants and six private persons U/s 120-B r/w 420, 467, 468 & 471 of IPC in the Court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi. A case was registered on 28.05.2014 on a complaint received from Canara Bank, New Delhi against the Television Network Private Company (a Group Company) based at Gole Market, New Delhi; two Promoter Directors of the said company & others.It was alleged that said Private Company & its both Directors; Auditor and some unknown others in criminal conspiracy with each other cheated Canara Bank, Janpath Branch, New Delhi by availing Term Loan (TL) of Rs. 500 lakh (approx) and Over Draft against Book Debts (ODBD) facility of Rs.250 lakh (approx) in the year 2005 for setting up of an Entertainment Music Channel at Guwahati. The said directors of the company allegedly diverted the funds sanctioned on the basis of forged/fake proforma invoices, invoices, bills of fictitious/on paper companies and misused the same. After thorough investigation, CBI filed a chargesheet. The Public is reminded that the above findings are based on the investigation done by CBI and evidence collected by it. Under the Indian law, the accused are presumed to be innocent till their guilt is finally established after a fair trial.
