CBI arrests bank manager and a private person in bribery case
The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested a Branch Manager, Prathma UP Gramin Bank, Lalateekar, Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh) and a private person for demanding & accepting bribe of Rs. 8,000/- from the complainant.
A case was registered on complaint against Branch Manager, Prathma UP Gramin Bank, Lalateekar, Moradabad (U.P) and a private person on the allegations of demanding bribe of Rs. 8000/- from the complainant in lieu of releasing KCC Loan to the tune of Rs. 3,00,000/-. CBI laid a trap and caught the accused while demanding & accepting bribe of Rs. 8,000/-.
Searches were conducted at the premises of the accused including at Rampur, Barielly & District – Moradabad (U.P) which led to recovery of documents.
Both the arrested accused are being produced today in the Court of Special Judge, CBI Cases, Ghaziabad (U.P).
