Haryana State Vigilance Bureau has caught Sanjay Singh, owner of tea stall near police station, Palla District Faridabad, red handed while accepting illegal gratification of Rs 10,000.
While stating this here today, a spokesman of State Vigilance Bureau, Haryana said that Sanjay Singh was nabbed in a raid by the State Vigilance Bureau while accepting bribe of Rs. 10,000 on the direction of accused Head constable Chander Pal posted at police station Palla district Faridabad, from Varun Channa a resident of Faridabad in lieu of releasing a scooty.
He said that both the accused have been arrested and a case has been registered against Head constable, Chander Pal under Sections 7 and 13 of the Prevention of Corruption Act at Bureau’s Police Station, Faridabad. Further investigation of the case is in progress, he added.
