With life for all of us currently being pretty chaotic at the moment, it’s the internet that’s proved to be our knight in shining armour. Taking us far away from the pool of anxiety, we’re rescued and transported to a land where we immerse ourselves in a world of entertainment. It comes as no surprise to see a surge in demand of online video content these days as people, with more time on their hands now, want to binge watch and catch up on the best content around. The weekend’s soon approaching and we certainly don’t want you worrying about what to watch starting Friday night. So here are 5 shows to do the trick. And trust us, it’ll be worth every single minute.

Four More Shots Please! Season 2 – One would be living under a rock if news about this show hasn’t reached their ears. Starring Bani J, Maanvi Gagroo, Kirti Kulhari and Sayani Gupta, this show revolves around the lives of these four unapologetic girls who live life on their own terms. Amazon Prime Video will be rolling the show out on 17th of April on its platform. With excitement and anticipation levels at an all-time high, we just cannot wait to see how the story unfolds in the second instalment and where does it lead to.

Hasmukh – The weekend will get off to a fabulous Friday as Netflix is all set to entertain us with this dark comedy releasing on April 17. This show starring Vir Das, Ranvir Shorey and Suhail Naiyyar revolves around a timid small-town comedian who awaits a big break in his life. The tables turn when this comedian realises that committing a murder might be the only way to keep his onstage mojo. We cannot wait for all of this to visualise on-screen! Put all other commitments aside, it’s Vir Das after all.

Panchayat – If you haven’t watched this show yet, please log out of all your OTT applications and delete them. This is a show which comes once in a blue moon. The story revolves around a fresh graduate who gets appointed in a village Panchayat. It further moves on busting the myths about village government being a group of 5 people sitting under a Banyan tree and smoking Hukkah. Add to the intriguing story, the show with some brilliant performances by Neena Gupta, Jitendra Kumar and Raghubir Yadav is the perfect cherry on the cake. The show is available on Amazon Prime Video

Social Season 2 – Stand up comedies usually revolve around every day to day aspect of our daily lives, but seldom do they speak about money matters. This show featuring Jaspreet and Karunesh Talwar boldly highlights the mistakes one does while making financial choices and investments. The show was launched this Tuesday on The Timeliners Youtube page and TVFPlay. Watch this show for a laugh riot and to learn the tricks of the trade in all things finance.

Who’s Your Daddy – This peppy show is a drama revolving around the equation of a father and son based in Delhi. This brilliant drama starring Harsh Beniwal, Rahul Dev and Anweshi Jain is sure to make you pick up your phone and call your dad! The show is available on ALTBalaji and ZEE5 to stream.
