Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Parkash Singh Badal today released the book ‘Dil Dimaag Di Vaarta’, written by imminent writer and poet Mr. Gursewak Singh Lambi, in a simple but impressive ceremony here at his residence this evening.
Felicitating the writer for making concerted efforts to publish this book, the Chief Minister, while highlighting the significance of books in the human life, said that the books play a pivotal role in imbibing moral values amongst the people besides giving right direction to the society. Mr. Badal underscored the need for creative and healthy literature to carve out a good and harmonious society. Mr. Badal also batted for promoting book culture in the society, books were the real friends of the mankind and act as a mirror to reflect one’s personality in the right perspective.
It may be recalled that this was the third book penned by the noted Punjabi writer Mr. Gursewak Singh Lambi.
Prominent amongst other present on the occasion included Chairman Mr. Tejinder Singh Middu Khera, Principal Secretary of the Chief Minister Mr. SK Sandhu, Special Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. KJS Cheema and renowned writer Dr. Satish Kumar Verma.
